After retiring from college teaching, Betty began her 'canine specialist' career in earnest when she joined the team at Dogeden in 1998. Betty's list of credentials is too extensive to list. As well as researching canine behaviour and interactions on her own, Betty’s professional development has included seminars and training in canine obedience, behaviour and health, just to mention a few. Betty is also a graduate of Pampered Paws Grooming Academy and has attained her grooming license from the Grooming Institute of Canada, a certification marked by the Federal Government. When she's not fluff-drying dogs in the grooming salon, Betty can be found visiting retirement homes with her St. John’s Therapy dog ‘Brandy’ or skijoring on the Seaton Hiking Trail with her Siberian husky pup 'Laska'.
